Hello beautiful people. How are you all?Did you survive the school holidays okay? I'm getting ready to go back to work, it's going to be a crazy term as I'm working full time for most of it.
Things are challenging here at the moment. Tiger is changing jobs so there's a bit of stress there and Chai is really struggling with his anxiety. Trying to get help for him is so difficult. Most providers have closed their books and the ones who haven't have waiting lists between one to two years. In the mean time I have to try to keep him coping which is not easy at all. I don't understand how and why there is such a shortage of health care professionals. Surely this is something that should have been recognised and addressed years ago. Apparently no-one seems to care though. Let's hope that a politician's child needs a health care expert and can't get one, then maybe something will change. Ah well, hopefully it'll all work out. We've had a very restful school holidays. Chai was sick for the last week of school and the first week of the holidays, Eljay was sick for the second weekend and halfway through the second week which means I've spent a lot of time relaxing on the couch next to a sick child. It's been lovely. I've read seven books and got lots of rest. Have a wonderful weekend beautiful people.
