One of the most enjoyable things about smaller festivals, aside from an endless list of positives, is seeing them grow bigger and better each year.
Frank Turner has spearheaded previous line ups but I think the most telling thing this year is just how strong a weekend it looks even without the 1,000+ gig strong folk troubadour (… as yet).
Along with an additional day of revelry and an extra stage, the green festival which already boasted huge names in the form of Frightened Rabbit, Los Campesinos and Scroobius Pip can now announce that Scot gloom merchants Twilight Sad, Leeds’ grunge revivalists Dinosaur Pile Up and to carry on the post rock trend of 2010- Three Trapped Tigers too will be gracing the mainstage over the the 3 day pursuit of happiness.
