Last weekend was the second annual Fermentation Festival & Market. It was a great “celebration of all things fermented” with breweries, spirits, food vendors, educational seminars, live music, and more. This event was again held at the Highlands Masonic Center, which was the perfect venue for the occasion. I liked that it was both indoors and outdoors, and it was pretty spacious. It’s never comfortable to feel like you’re in a can of sardines, which happens too often at this type of festival. So I’m a fan of this space (plus, the indoor part came in handy when the storm blew in that Saturday).

unnamed If you haven’t been to Fermentation Festival & Market yet, keep an eye out for this event next year. It’s a nice mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food vendors, plus a place to get educated on subjects related to fermentation. It’s definitely worth checking out!
