Feminine Florals

By Brookedujour @brookedujour
As today marks the first official day of spring, a post on florals couldn’t be more appropriate!

Feminine Florals 1.   J.Crew Painter’s Floral Swimsuit, $135 2.   Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine Perfume, $653.   Honeydew Intimates Floral Lace Bralette ($32) and Undies ($18)4.   Tibi Daisies Sleeveless Yoked Top, $3505.   Kate Spade Estate Garden Necklace, $1986.   J.Crew Collection Daisy Chain Ballet Flats, $2257.   Urban Outfitters Cult Gaia Lana Flower Crown Headwrap, $100
I can hear Miranda Priestly’s voice in my head: “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.” I know, I know but I can’t help that floral prints always put me in a cheery mood. Plus, florals can feel fresh and new as long as the print is chic and graphic. Leave outdated floral prints to your grandma’s couch and wallpaper, please!
I love all the above options, but I’m especially crushing on the one-piece swimsuit. The print reminds me of the Beverly Hills Hotel. So glam right? I’m picturing myself wearing it with an oversized sunhat and a mai tai in hand ; )
Most of the time, I go totally girly when I wear floral. But if you’d rather mix things up, I suggest throwing on some boyfriend jeans, motorcycle booties or a studded jean jacket. Hey, tousleyour hair a bit too.
Craving more spring inspiration? I’m loving Rebecca Marin’s ombré rosé cake post, this sunny yellow Kate Spade skirtand how Blair Eadie styled Ann Taylor's hot pink dress!
What are your favorite patterns and trends for springtime? I’m all ears!
