The giant doll built-into the Tranquillity chair is fitted with extra long hands to hug whoever sits on the chair. It also has built in speakers that plays old Japanese music for elderly people.

The tranquillity chair was actually made for the elderly people, and it was shown off at the International Home care and Rehabilitation exhibition in Tokyo, which showcased over 20,000 specially made products for the elderly population in Japan.
