A BRIEF HISTORY
It's been more than a century since Bosch was founded as a precision mechanics and electrical engineering workshop. Located in Munich, Germany, Bosch appliances is now part of Bosch and Siemens Home Appliance Group (BSH). In 1912, they opened their first American factory. It was considered by many in the industry as the largest and most sanitary.
The U.S. Bosch website has an awesome timeline chronicling the launch of each of their kitchen appliances. In 1991, they began selling their home appliances in the United States. Bosch's dishwasher is by far their most popular kitchen appliance, probably because it is known as the quietest dishwasher in the industry.

Today, Bosch is connected to the third largest appliance manufacturer on the globe. For the last six years, Bosch has won awards from ENERGY STAR for their commitment to energy efficiency and the environment.
