Feast Your Ears on Adam Schatz’s Zombie Lament [stream]

It’s Halloween! And Adam Schatz (Landlady, Father Figures, and countless other projects) just wrapped his tour playing with Man Man and has gifted the us with something we’ve been subconsciously begging for — a zombie lament. Schatz’s deft multi-instrumentalism and brains make for a hilariously smart track about, well, eating his lover’s brains — “I’m coming after you/Your everlasting groom/We are gathered here today /To eat your brains.” How romantic. The B-side to “What I Am Capable Of (Zombie’s Lament)” is a cover of “Mellow Out”, his “favorite JEFF the Brotherhood jam”.
