[Our first pressies under the tree. Horray!]
My mom is originally from England, and a tradition she grew up with is an advent calendar. For the first 24 days of December, you get a small present. She always goes above and beyond, and when they came for Thanksgiving, she brought a box of numbered brown paper sacks for boyfriend and I. Opening a small gift each day is so much fun, and this year it will be even more special to share the tradition with boyfriend for the first time.
[December 1st was a stack of homemade Christmas cards for us to send to our loved ones. How perfect since both of us are too exhausted to think about little things like this. PS our present for December 2nd? A roll of stamps. My mom thinks of everything.]
