Favorite: K-Palette Zero Kuma Cover Control Concealer in Type 1

By Genzelkisses

Have you read about my Happy List 2013 Makeup Edition?  I find it very helpful!  While I was raking with my makeups for the products that really served me well last year, I stumbled upon items that I’ve been using for almost a year already but I still haven’t reviewed yet!  So today, I want to feature one of my favorite concealers, the Zero Kuma Cover Control Concealer by K-Palette.  I’m such a huge fan of this brand.

I don’t have any decent concealer before and I asked my friend Kim of Keemji.blogspot.com and she highly recommended this to me.  Honestly, I was kinda hesitant at first because it’s expensive.  P895.oo for a concealer?  It must be so good!  But then she already used up a tube and bought another one so it means, she really likes it!  I’ve also seen her worn it a couple of times and I like the effect on her skin.  Not only that it conceals blemishes but it looks like she used highlighter too!  So there, I gave in and glad I did.

It’s made in Japan so the characters on the label are all in japanese.  I don’t know but whenever a beauty product is from Japan, I have this initial trust on their products.  The products that I’ve tried from their country are all effective!

It comes with this lipgloss-like-tube applicator (not sure if that’s how you call it, lol but I’ve seen lipglosses with this kind of opening).  It’s very easy to use and you can control the amount of product you use.  I find it hygienic.

You might wonder why I still have a lot of product even though this has been with me for almost a year.  Well, I reserve this concealer for special occasions

:D
Are you like that too?  I have products that I use for everyday, ordinary days, and others for special events.

The shade is more on what they call “Salmon” shade or peachy that is perfect for concealing dark under-eye circles.  It also has moisturizing effects on the skin.  Special ingredients in Type 1 are Hyaluronic Acid, Water Soluble Collagen, and Rose Water.  Therefore this is called concealer + beauty serum.

Let’s try concealing my under-eye imperfections.  By the way, the photos below are not edited for your reference.

As you can see, lids and under-eye are darker than the rest of my skin.

I dab a few of the concealer on my under-eye area.  I put product left on my fingers on my lids to brighten the eye more.

TADA!  My eye looks fresh!

Now let’s try it on my most hated part of my face, my cheeks.  I have very obvious broken capillaries on my cheeks ever since I was born.  I really don’t know where the hell did I get this!

Pardon my pores and broken capillaries all over my left cheek.

I just dab a few.  I recommend you use your fingers so it will blend on the skin pretty well.

Viola!  Flawless!

Bought it from Beauty Bar ATC for P895.00 (approx. $20)

I’ve seen on their Facebook Page that it’s for only P795.00, but I’m not sure if it’s just a typo or they have reduced the price.

This is my most favorite concealer so far.  It does the job in concealing my under-eye area and my broken capillaries on my cheeks.  I cannot complain with the longevity and how it works like a highlighter.  It’s very easy to apply!  A little goes a long way so this will last you months depending on how often you use it.  It’s a winner!
