Fave Pin Friday March 15: Learn about the Ides of March
Happy Friday!

Today's fave pin is somewhat of a history/literature lesson. Ever hear of the Ides of March? Do you know what it means or refers to? Those of us who know English Literature well have heard or read the phrase before in one of Shakespeare's works: Julius Caesar. Caesar, while celebrating the ancient holiday Lupercalia, hears a warning from the crowd, "Beware the Ides of March!" (Source: Enotes.com).  The Ides of March fall on the 15th of the month. 'Ides' are generally days that fall somewhere in the middle of the month.  So why was Caesar being warned about the middle of the month?  Find out by checking out today's pin! (The picture may be a hint for you. "Et tu, Brute?" ring a bell?) Also, learn about a few other events that happened on the Ides of March.
