A 46-year-old father who had repeatedly raped his 13-year-old daughter was arrested The police said the suspect was absconding. The teacher has been admitted to the Jaffna Hospital. The suspect had assaulted the teacher over a dispute of searching his child’s pockets at school. The suspect is the owner of a LP Gas cooker repairing center and a resident of Jaffna.
The incident had occurred after the student had complained to his father. The Police said the school will take disciplinary action against the student.
