I have written this before but my favorite part of photographing a wedding is capturing the interaction between a bride and her father.That was definitely the case during the wedding of Sheena and David. You see, Sheena is my niece and her dad is my brother, Vincent, Vin or as we called him as kids, Vinny. Seeing Vinny and Sheena's faces and the love they have for each other were truly my favorite moments from this or any other wedding that I have had the privilege of photographing.
That is said with all due respect to all the other brides and their dads. Seeing my brother in this situation raised the moment exponentially for me. From the first time he saw her in the wedding dress to giving her hand to Dave and throughout the reception, moved me then and still does as I look at our images.
Please watch my niece and my brother on her wedding day and I hope you feel the love. If you do not then we did not do them justice with our photography.
