“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Fashion Project. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
Cancer is an ugly disease. And while I can't speak personally from experience, I've watched friends and family struggle to help their loved ones as their bodies changed and transitioned through treatment. And aside from the medical aspect of it, there are so many changes the body goes through that can leave the person feeling mentally, physically, and emotionally fragile.
But thankfully, there are resources. The Look Good Feel Better program was started to help women address these appearance-related effects of their treatment. Through workshops, women are given lessons on wardrobe, skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs, turbans, and accessories.
Have you ever heard of Fashion Project? They're a platform dedicated to raise as much money as possible by creating a community where members can donate and shop for causes they care about. They are the leading charitable re-commerce destination that donates a portion of net profit to the donors charity of choice. Do you have a cause that speaks loudly to you? Buy purchasing an item or donating to Fashion Project, you're making a change and changing someone's life across the world.
Well now, The Look Good Feel Better program has partnered with Fashion Project. The Look Good Feel Better Boutique on Fashion Project's website features clothing and accessories that have been donated by the community's members, designers, and celebrities. From now until June 7th, you can purchase or donate like-new women's designer clothing and accessories to benefit the Look Good Feel Better program. You can also use the code SAMANTHA25 for 25% off your purchase of $50 or more from now until the 21st.
You and I may not personally understand the struggles that many women are having while fighting cancer. But to do our part, we can support them and this cause by making a purchase to donate to the program. Every woman deserves to look and feel good regardless of their situation, and by doing little things like this, you're making a difference more than you even probably know.
Please tweet me if you make a purchase or donate to this fabulous cause... I would love to give you a virtual hug :)
