Hello Gorgeous! Supermodel Naomi Campbell is looking to expand her brand by launching her own clothing line. Yes, I can’t wait to see what her line will consists of because I know it will be haute.
According to Naomi, the idea to start her own line crossed her mind over 15 years ago, but fearing criticism from other designers, she choose to put that idea on the back burner and just stick to modeling.
“I always had this feeling of, I love working with designers–I don’t want to be their competition and maybe if I do my own line they won’t work with me anymore,” she said. “Now I’ve grown up a bit more, I will be launching my own line, yes I will design not just for women of color, but for all. I see there are a lot of things not out there that I would like to have and so I’d like to share it with everybody. Hopefully I will have something out to share by 2015.”
