I am totally fan-girling right now! I am so pumped up right now. Why, you ask? Because the ultimate of hockey showdowns is happening today, that is why!
At least three of us here at ESL (Erika, B and I) are major hockey fans and depending on the outcome today, we could all be winners. Erika and I are major Detroit Red Wing fans and a lot of Team Sweden plays for that particular NHL team and they beat Finland 2-1 and now are awaiting the outcome of the USA/CAN game, which will begin shortly!
Let’s break this down, we know Sweden is playing for Gold. It will either be Team USA or Team Canada that they play in that pivotal game come Sunday. Bottom line is someone is going to be playing for the bronze and I imagine, neither team is liking that scenario but such is the nature of the game. So for us here at ESL (or maybe just me) it could be a win/win/win with all teams taking home a medal or one leaves with nothing! In that case, it will be a win/win, depending on if you are Canadian or American!

I am hoping for a win/win/win (with the USA winning either Gold or Silver, with Erika the opposite)
I bet Alex was totally a fan boy watching Sweden play today. I will play fan girl to his fan boy any day!
