Melbourne indie band Fan Girl are gravitating towards art rock on their new single flood, with a shifting back beat that somehow always lands on its feet. Lots of fuzz, so mastering engineer Felix Davis had plenty of work to salvage Noah Harris's vocals from the stems that were send to him. The result: a mangled sound that is quite catchy.
