Fall Colors

What a busy week it’s been in The Dreamery kitchen, with cupcakes and cakes galore, along with working on the first of my Handmade Holiday gifts. I’m looking forward to focusing on events that I have coming up, and well of course the holidays. The holidays are coming fast, especially Thanksgiving, can you believe in less than two weeks! Well, I’ve got plenty of inspiration and ideas coming your way. For some reason, I’m just too excited for the season and Christmas this year, even binging on holiday movies, yes I know, but I can’t help myself. What I can wait for, is the weather to become colder, which has begun to blister through New Jersey this year. But has it been a beautiful autumn this year in the Northeast. It’s been warm, which of course I love, but the fall foliage has just been extraordinary. I had intended to take a hike, but with several bear sitings in northern New Jersey, I didn’t want to risk it. Oh, but there was plenty of beautiful fall colors everywhere you went. When the trees hit their peak near me, I just couldn’t help but get outside as much as I could, just to see all the lovely colored trees. Everyday new colors emerged, while others quickly faded and disappeared, until their return in the Spring. What better way to start the week than with a few snippets of the beautiful fall colors…
