(Some scary photos of the lashes in use)Natural Lashes $8.54 and Glue $2.84
I do love long lashes, but for some reason I always thought that false-eyelashes wouldn't be for me. I think I was scared off from a young age, scarred with memories of crazy monstrosities that sit on your upper lid, and thought that I would never be able to pull them off. From day to day my makeup stays very neutral, but sometimes it's nice to be able to push the boat out a little, which is why these natural false lashes are a perfect bridging step between my average natural lashes and full-on falsies.
When I first came to apply these, I couldn't get them to work for me at all. In all honesty I had never applied lashes before and stupidly didn't realize that I needed to cut them to fit my eyes, so it looked like I had some kind of mad hair growing disease. After some quick research online, and a couple of youtube videos (for reference, Lisa Eldridge's video is the one to look at) I managed to apply them successful (although it did take a very long time!).
So why are these lashes good? The first thing that I really love about them is the length, longer than I could ever get with a mascara, but not so long that they're brushing up against my eyebrows, which is perfect as it means that they look a lot more natural. I also love the mixture between volume and length that they combine, and although they are made out of synthetic hairs, they don't look or feel like plastic at all. I love these so much and I can definitely see myself using them for more special occasions or when I want my makeup to give more impact, and with proper care, they are meant to be pretty reusable too!
Overall, I would really recommend these to anyone who wants to try out false eyelashes, and get the volume, length and curl that you could never get with mascara, without looking overly fake. The price is really fantastic as you get 10 in a pack, and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
What do you think of these? Are you a false lash wearer?
