Facebook’s Android app has been getting all the possible tantrums for being slow and unresponsive. Facebook finally comes to its senses and has ditched the HTML5 webview and gone for the native app which speeds up the App drastically. This not only speeds up the App load time but speeds up the photo loading, browsing Timeline and makes flipping through your New Feed a breeze.
This it the major updated here, rest the app looks identical to the old app. But regular Facebook for Android users would feel the difference immediately. A few new features along with this update are, ability to single-tap photos to open them directly so you can like/comment/share.
