What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

What a week. You could watch the government crash and burn almost minute by minute. One thing is for sure, we will all have stories to tell our grandchildren one day.
- And the winner is… – Jim was blown away by the day they spent on campus, the tours, the size of his program, the music department, the attention they received, and so much more. We asked Connor to start running the numbers and not just tuition and room and board. We had him do a side-by-side comparison of the two programs plus all of the extras that make up campus life. Even though there was a clear winner, I know this was not an easy decision for Connor to make. He has had his heart set on the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for two years now. However, Jim and I both agree that he made the right choice and is going to love college. So, go Cyclones!

The entire day was so inspiring, which is exactly what we needed to recover from the election and gird our loins for the douchebag-in-chief. And what a douchebag he is. This has been a shitstorm of a week politically, but I know that everyone in my liberal bubble has been extremely active in trying to undo or prevent the damage coming out of the White House. I also know that this will continue because people are angry and angry people make noise. Lots of it. If we have learned anything this week, the Orange Hitler does not like opposing noise. It drives him insane and he loses his capacity to reason. So, keep it up ladies and gentlemen. We are making a difference. One of these days, he is going to be so upset that he will make a fatal flaw that no one will be able to ignore. It will happen sooner rather than later. Take back the power from Washington by using your voice and your pocketbook if you can afford it. Let’s give new meaning to the phrase power to the people!
