What better day to celebrate these little things other than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week ending 22 February 2019.

- SURVIVING – Work. I am in full-blown survival mode right now. Between transitioning from a private to a publicly traded company, the new year, a new month, additional duties, new reports, and pushing out as much information as possible every week, it is all I can do to make it to the end of each week. My job used to keep me busy one or two weeks each month with the rest of the time left to work on projects and seek ways to improve what I already publish. Things shifted towards the end of the year with the push to finalize a budget and have not let up since then. It is all go all the time. I know people, my husband being one of them, who loves that type of work environment. I do not. I need some downtime. I need a boring day now and then. This 100 mph all day every day is brutal and leaves me barely functional in the evenings, hence my lack of reading. I am still optimistic that once I finish revamping reports and creating the remaining new ones on my list, my duties will settle into something more manageable. Things have to settle down. I’m an accountant for crying out loud. We don’t do crazy like this!
