We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.
- DONE – Somehow, we made it through the fall sports season Cross-country is done. Marching band competitions are over. There are no more home football games. These last few weekends have been brutal because they have been so busy. With things at work have been heating up for both Jim and me, we really needed that time to decompress and recover from the work week, and it just was not happening. Tomorrow is the first weekend in two months were all we have on the schedule is dance. The entire family is excited and anxious to do nothing.
- READATHON – The fall readathon starts tomorrow morning, and for the first time in years, I can participate. I am looking forward to a day of resting, relaxation, and all of the bookish fun I can stand. Compared to others, I never do a good job of planning my day, but I always enjoy myself. I cannot wait!
