We should always find ways to celebrate the little things in life. What better day to celebrate these little things than the best day of the week? So, here are the things that make this a Fabulous Friday for me this week.

BRIDAL SHOWER – One of my closest friends is getting married in November, so of course it is time for all of the pre-wedding fun. Tomorrow is her bridal shower, for which I am in charge of the decorations. This sort of thing always makes me nervous, as I am never sure if my skills will match my vision. Still, I know it will be fun no matter what!

READATHON – Between the bridal shower and an unexpected visit from my brother-in-law all the way from Pittsburgh, tomorrow’s readathon is more than likely a no-go for me. That doesn’t mean I don’t plan on having my own mini-readathon at some point in time over the weekend. It is the only weekend this month where Holly and I are not traveling, and I want to make sure that I take full advantage of that.
