Fabric Created from Human Remains? Ewwww

Fabric Created from Human Remains? EwwwwIt’s bad enough that we can’t get enough people to commit to being organ donors, but now Kerry Greville believes that we can and should extract chemical components from cremated remains.  The way Kerry sees it, the human body is a gold mine of base and precious metals, including copper, iron, zinc, magnesium, and iron.   As she said,  “It is my belief that the only resource we can lay claim to is our body.  Every other resource is taken without consent.”  Of course the question she asks is, “Could we allow ourselves to become detatched from our loved ones so that their bodies could be seen as a resource?”

Hmm, good question.  I just don’t know how I feel about wearing a coat made out of my dead Uncle Louie.
