Chen Kun and Zhou Xun are gracing the cover and pages of GQ China’s February issue. The longtime friends who first worked together in Symphony of Rain in 2001 are set to collaborate again for the twelfth time in the upcoming fantasy wuxia film The Yin Yang Master, which Netflix has picked up international rights to. This languid editorial which is equal parts expressively dramatic and artistic is so appropriate for these two actors who are known for their expressiveness and artistry. I find the multiple exposure series on the water to be quite compelling. It also takes me back to when I first learned print photography and the painstaking process this was to accomplish traditionally in the darkroom.
