The spring vibes are strong in this Harper's Bazaar editorial which finds Ni Ni enjoying some lovely moments with the cherry blossoms. The gorgeous Chinese actress who is an ambassador for Gucci eyewear is adorned in a selection of looks from the brand's 2018 Resort collection which reflects the brand's signature aesthetic of eclectic opulence. After focusing mostly on film work including a role in the Chinese-French film The Warriors Gate, Ni Ni is starring in her first television series alongside the always swoonworthy Chen Kun in the historical drama The Rise of Phoenixes (凰权·弈天下) based on the novel Huang Quan by Tianxia Guiyuan. The trailer actually looks quite compelling and I'm a fan of both leads but it's 70 episodes long which is way more than I'm willing to commit to right now. Maybe I'll just watch Ni Ni in Suddenly Seventeen. The premise of a woman in an unhappy relationship who eats a piece of strange chocolate that transforms her back to her 17 year-old self sounds like it could be quite fun.
