I can't believe that I haven't posted more about Mr. Joe Cheng because this Taiwanese actor has been a favorite ever since I watched It Started With A Kiss in 2006 back when I was obsessed with Taiwanese dramas. Based on Mischievous Kiss (Itazura na Kiss), ISWAK is still one of the best and most popular drama adaptations of a Japanese manga ever. I thought he was the cutest even though his hair was styled into a most awful permed mullet helmet. So Joe came back into my orbit since I recently discovered his 2015 drama Singles Villa on Netflix and have been watching it on and off. Jiro Wang from ISWAK is actually in it too. It's a little silly and Lulu Xu's high pitched voice is like nails on a chalkboard but still a lighthearted watch.
