Chang Chen is looking good and rocking the man bangs along with a range of fashion forward tailored looks in this GQ China editorial. I was really excited when I heard the news that the Taiwanese actor was cast in the Hollywood remake of the sci-fi film Dune. I've never actually seen the original film in it's entirety nor am I a fan of the science fiction genre. I was excited because he's a really talented Asian actor from Asia and one who I'm a fan of. Chang Chen is probably best known for his scene stealing role of Dark Cloud in the critically acclaimed and award winning Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. My favorite performance of his is probably in the Taiwanese film Three Times where he took on three different characters though he made the most of a small role in Wong Kar Wai's Happy Together and was quietly compelling in Kim Ki Duk's Breath in which he didn't utter a single word. Chang Chen will be making his television debut opposite Ni Ni in the upcoming fantasy drama Love and Destiny which looks pretty magical. I'm not sure if I'm up for another another period drama even though I like the leading cast but I'm really hoping that his film Forever Young 无问西东 will get picked up for a NA release because the trailers look incredible.
