Expect Labs at TV of Tomorrow

By Expectlabs @ExpectLabs

Expect Labs’ CEO will be discussing natural user interfaces at the TV of Tomorrow Show, a conference that explores the interactive television experience across multiple platforms. The panel includes leaders from Nuance, CableLabs, OpenTV, and Volio, and will focus on NUIs’ influence on user experience and the voice and gesture technologies that power these kinds of natural interactions.

Here is more information on what the conversation will cover:

“Natural user interfaces—which are defined as “a user interface that is 1) effectively invisible, or becomes invisible with successive learned interactions, to its users, and 2) is based on nature or natural elements”—are now all around us. Every day, we talk to our smartphones in order to send texts or search the Internet, and use gestures to perform such diverse activities as playing games or turning on a thermostat—to list just a few examples. And now, NUI’s appear poised to take an increasingly central role in the user experience of television and other forms of video.”

Event Details: Wednesday, June 26th 2:10-3:05PM Forum Room at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

Swing by the panel and learn about the innovative interfaces that will make our TV experiences more real than reality.
