Last night, C surprised me with tickets to see Romeo Santos at his sold out Staples Center concert. Romeo Santos, The King of Bachata, was joined by Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel, who made the following announcement:
“I came here tonight, to tell you, that Romeo is in Fast & Furious 7″
Romeo’s role has yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, he will continue his tour throughout the United States.
I must confess that I am not a loyal fan of Romeo Santos, however, the hype of his concerts has always been present from friends and acquaintances. It always left me curious to know how his concerts were, and I must say there was never a dull moment.
I’ve been to the Staples Center in several occasions for games or concerts like Mana, but I have never seen it as full and with so much love and interaction as last night. I was blown away by how much Romeo Santos’ fans love him. Not only was I enjoying the concert, but I was admiring the fans. It was simply amazing.
Of course, most of his fan-base clearly belongs to women. They love hearing him flirt and giving men advice on how to treat ladies. Women really go crazy for him.
Moreover, on stage, Santos has such an emotional dominant persona with his fans. He even took two women on stage and kissed them more than once.
Romeo Santos puts on quite the show. Unlike other artist who need fireworks, fog machines and backstage dancers, Romeo keeps it simple, and I believe it’s that simplicity that drives women crazy.
