Alan McCormack is better known; or at least he should be better known; as the man behind lo-fi, experimental pop band Now Wakes The Sea. Taking steer from '50's pop, and applying the freedom of imagination, Now Wakes The Sea's 2014 album Bildungsroman is as fine an album you'll hear this year.
