EX1 Cosmetics (Exotique Cosmetics) is specifically designed for girls who have olive undertones, like Mediterranean's, Middle Eastern's, Far-Eastern's Asians, and Exotique skins.
For me I am a Mediterranean girl and I am having hard time to find the right shade for my skin, even on MAC I have to buy 2 foundations and mix it.
I can never find my matching shade on Illamasqua, Lancome, etc. Illamasaqua have the perfect coverage but not to so great at the shades. Lancome has a wider shade range but not so good at stay. Either too dark, or too light, or too yellow or too pink.
It's like a needle in a haystack
I do like to use as many foundations as possible to find the right foundation according to my needs.
But the results are not so satisfying for me, I do not like to live with matching 2 shades, carrying 2 bottles of foundation where ever I go.
I have never heard of EX1 Cosmetics before, so this is my first experience with their products. :)
I am actually quite surprised with the coverage and the stay.
It stay 4-5 hours if you apply it on bare skin without a primer and a foundation.
If you use a primer 6-7 hours and it stays longer if you apply it over a foundation.
Although the color / shade looks lighter on the photos, the powder is darker than it looks on the photos, A fair skinned girl can use this powder easily as a bronzer.
It is a bit darker but it is not a big deal for now, as I will be going on a holiday by the Mediterranean coast and I will be getting darker, than it will be a perfect match for me :)
It's not dusty, and it does not comes with a powder puff, I wish it came with a powder puff.
I do not recommend this for dry skins. It will get into your pores and it will create an ugly look.
