'Bhoga Khirikee' is a much-awaited film by legendary Indian filmmaker from Assam, Jahnu Barua.
The feature film also marks the debut of Priyanka Chopra's Purple Pebble Pictures and Shahnaab Alam's Easterly Entertainment in Assamese cinema. The cast of 'Bhoga Khirikee' features Zerifa Wahid, Seema Biswas, Joy Kashyap, Sanjay Khargharia, Kasvi Sharma, Mohommed Ali Shah and Bishnu Khargharia.
'Bhoga Khirikee' is scheduled to release in theatres across Assam and India, on the 26th October'2018.
Guwahati International Film Festival (GIFF) recently announced the association with Priyanka Chopra's Purple Pebble Pictures and Shahnaab Alam's Easterly Entertainment for the GIFF'2018, from 25th - 31st October.
'Bhoga Khirikee' will be the opening Inaugural Film of the 2nd Guwahati International Film Festival. The Film will be screened during the Opening Ceremony of the GIFF at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra on the 25th October'2018.
The film has songs written and composed by Ibson Lal Baruah and sung by Anindita Paul and Ibson Lal Baruah. The cinematography of the film is by Suman Dowerah and art design by Phatik Baruah. Amrit Pritam has done the Sound design for the film, while it has been edited by Hu-en Barua. Debajit Changmai will do the Final Mix of the film.
Apart from Pabitra Margherita, the Chairman of JyotiChitraban and Monita Borgohain, Festival Director of GIFF, the Press Meet was attended by Producers, Dr. Madhu Chopra and Shahnaab Alam, Director Jahnu Barua, Lead Actor Zerifa Wahid, Composer Ibson Lal Baruah, Singer Anindita Paul, Art Director Phatik Baruah and Executive Producer Sartaj Alam.
