Browsing your notebooks, tags and shortcuts are now easier than ever with the new interface. Evernote now takes full advantage of the screen space, allowing users to focus only at the main content by minimizing other options into a simple toolbar on the left side. Even when you start writing a new note, the entire interface now disappears into the background to give you more space to write the note.
“This is a dramatic re-imagining of Evernote Web. It’s no longer a second choice, but rather a destination for the creative mind,” Evernote’s Andrew Sinkov wrote on a blog post. “It’s the workspace you’ll rely on when you simply need to work. No distractions. No interruptions. Just focus.”
Evernote has always been one of the most popular apps among writers, bloggers and many others who made their life easier by planning and researching their projects ahead at one place. I have been using the app for years as a place to keep my journal, save important web pages and research on blog posts. But I never felt the need to install the app on my desktop, since I do most of my work on the browser. The Evernote web app was very slow to load and it took me a while to figure out the complicating user interface. Although, this new revamp makes it much easier to use Evernote on web. It loads faster and allows me completely focus on what I’m writing.
