Event | Winning a Cosmo Blog Award!

Even though you've most probably seen the numerous pictures and tweets that I've been posting, I am so proud to announce that I have won a Cosmopolitan Blog Award! Although I didn't win the Best Established Beauty Blog category, I came away with the award of Highly-Commeneded and I am absolutely over the moon. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me and tweeted me on the night, you have no idea how much it all means to me. Here's a little bit about the night...
The event was once again in the stunning OXO Tower over-looking the River Thames, decorated super sophisticately in all white. Pinky Vodka supplied everyone with delicious cocktails and perhaps I may have had one too many by the end of the night, whoops. The room was filled with amazing brands such as Remington offering a hair styling session and MUA giving stunning makeovers. I met so many amazing girls such as Andini, Kim, Tash, Sophia, Faye and Sophie. It was so nice to finally meet them in person, give them a big squeeze and spend the night giggling together. I also got to catch up with two of my favorite girls who I met at last years awards, Gracie & Stacie. I love making friends with fellow bloggers, you realize how much you have in common and it is always such fun.
This year we were taken into a separate room for the big reveal, sitting in rows on white chairs - It felt like such a swanky award ceremony! As soon as the magazine Editor-in-Cheif, Louise Court and Digital Editor, Kate Lucey revealed that my category was to be announced first, my palms began to sweat. When I heard my name announced as Highly-Commended my eyes filled up straight away and the whole 'walking up and accepting' is all a blur. I had such an incredible night and was overwhelmed with emotions to receive such an award. I can only say thank you a million times over to all of you because without you, none of this would have happened. <3
