Inspirational and enjoyable! James A. Toups does a wonderful job pulling in the reader in this inspirational tale of faith during trials. I loved the message and how the book unfolded. Really great read!
A must read! A great and inspiring story of Jay's personal experience in relying on God during difficult times and how his faith provided the encouragement, direction and strength to endure and overcome all challenges!
Great read, so encouraging! Loved the way this book followed the life of this young man through adulthood. The chapters were an easy read and I kept reading with anticipation of what was to become of the young man as he grew in his faith. Louisianans are very strong and this young man had a loving relationship with his family, and a special relationship with his grandmother. I couldn't put the book down and could not believe how he turned his life around. He trusted that through all the storms in his life that God would take care of him and his family. Great read and with such positivity that encourages people to push through and know that there is hope, faith, love and community surrounding us all.
Great book! An inspiration. James Toups tells the story that so many of us from New Orleans have lived. His faith and family values are an inspiration. Looking forward to more.
