I can't wait to read it again! What an endearing story, not to be missed! A touching account of a boy growing up in a close-knit family and through all of life's storms along the way, he learns the lesson that we all need to remember. Trust in God to see you through! I laughed, I cried. I found comfort in this true story, inspired by the author's strong faith in God and in family. Toups is painfully honest in his portrayal of the storms that come, even in the strongest of families, but with each storm, he knows wherein lies his strength. What a beautiful family! This book is an inspiration!
Candid, heartfelt. Beautifully written, Mr. Toups gives us a glimpse of growing up in a large family in the Deep South. As we are introduced to some of his family members and friends, we understand the relationships that made him the man he is today. We see the peace and happiness which comes only through love of God and each other. His life experiences, which Mr. Toups candidly shares, are an example of deep faith and trust. Even in the most difficult times, he sees the hand of God at work. With each struggle, his relationship with Christ grows stronger. His message of HOPE is truly inspiring and uplifting. A must read!
