Even Celebrities Are Crazy About Amsterdam!

By Amsterdam City Tours

Concert_Alicia_KeysBack in April, Beyonce took Amsterdam by storm during her stop in the city on her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

That same month, Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber gave a concert in Arnhem. As you may have heard, his visit to the Anne Frank House caused quite a stir.

Then, just last week, the city welcomed Barbara Streisand for the first time while she was touring with her own concert, Barbara Streisand Live. And it seems she was just in awe of Amsterdam as Amsterdam was of her!

To top it all of, song diva Alicia Keys was spotted in Amsterdam last week with her in-laws and her son, Egypt.

Papparazzi snapped photos of the foursome checking out Amsterdam's famed flower markets as well as Keys cycling through the city, toting a carriage behind her with Egypt inside.

Keys apparently caught Streisand's concert while in town and, when asked what she thought, couldn't stop gushing about the icon.

Photos and videos of her trip abound on the internet though, for the most part, the papparazzi stood their distance and let the family wander Amsterdam in peace.

She did stop to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans.

But it's not all family-time and relaxation. Keys is in Amsterdam to work. On June 7, she played to a sold-out house at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome as part of her Set the World on Fire Tour.

Take it from celebrities in the know, Amsterdam is the place to be. And, as Alicia will surely attest, the best way to check out the city is by bike.
