European Vaca - Days 1 & 2.

By Elleelizabeth @elleelizabethh
hi everyone! it seems like it's been forever! friday night i finally returned from europe and i've been trying to get my body back on schedule. it still thinks that's 6 hours ahead, but i'm gradually getting there :) i have lots of pictures to share and i will try to keep the summary of my trip as sweet and short as possible!
european vaca - days 1 & 2.
frirday, october 4th, we arrived in zurich, switzerland at 8:30am their time (2:30am NY time). we caught the rail and made our way to lake lucerne where we were staying for the night. we quickly dropped our stuff off at the hotel, then caught a ferry to mt. rigi. from their we took a cable car on the way up the mountain. once we reached the top, we took lots of pictures and enjoyed the music from an apline horn. can you you say ricola?! haha! the evening consisted of walking around the city of lucerne, enjoying some swiss fondue for dinner and taking in everything. come the morning we strolled along the streets near our hotel and even enjoyed the morning market before meeting up with 2 other members of our group, who flew in the day after us.

once our group of 6 women were all together, we caught the train from lucerne to brienz where we rented 2 apartments for 6 days. the views around brienz were just breath-taking and i couldn't believe the color of the water around us! it was definitely surreal looking. once we settled in to the apartments, we made our way to interlaken. there we caught another cable car, which took us up the side of harder klum. from the top, we could see all of interlaken and jungfrau (the top of europe) in the distance. the weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy some beers while taking in the sites around us!
