Enough can't be said about the work this Front Office has done since the reigns were taken away from Kevin McClatchy.
We can and should give Frank Coonelly and Neal Huntington a lot of credit for implementing a plan and not deviating from it even when things didn't go their way.
...but nobody gives Bob Nutting any credit because he's only associated with payroll, but he's the one who got this whole train rolling. He's the one who spent a year going around to all of the MLB clubs and talking to Owners,
Presidents and GM's to learn and more importantly, how to do it right.
Frank Coonelly and Neal Huntington werent the sexy decisions, but they've been the right decisions and Bob Nutting deserves credit for that.
The Pirates aren't just a good team now and the past 2 years, they are built to be good for many years going forward.
