ESKIMEAUX’S TRACK ‘I ADMIT I’M SCARED’ IS FULL OF PERSONALITY AND PAIN [STREAM] Pause Eskimeaux – I Admit I’m Scared SoundCloud

Eskimeaux just dropped a new track “I Admit I’m Scared” off her upcoming album O.K. which will be released on her bandcamp and Double Double Whammy Records on May 12. Eskimeaux is Gabrielle Smith, who has been making music under the moniker for many years now and also plays in Frankie Cosmos, as well as other bands in the art collective The Epoch. “I Admit I’m Scared” might be familiar to her fans, but its been reworked here for release on the album. As Smith’s voice delicately trembles over her guitar, you can’t help but feel her trepidation. Smith reaches deep down for this one, making it a touching and personal listening experience about the pains and potential rewards of confronting someone. For fans of Mitski, Girlpool and Bellows, the new one from Eskimeaux is not one to snooze on!
