Equality || We Fear What We Don't Know

Hellooo shimmers,
A slightly random/different post today, although i'm sort of known for doing that!!
I am loving Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's album, there songs are catchy and the words are meaning full, one song more than others... There is one song called "same love" and its all about treating everyone equally, no matter their sexuality, race, gender. That passing the gay marriage laws isn't going to change lives but its a start. I know a few people who are gay and they are no different to anyone else, everyone should be treated with respect and how you yourself would want to be treated. I love the lines in the song 'We fear What we don't know'  ... ' I cant change even if I tried even if I wanted too' ... 'We become so numbed to what we say' ... 'live on and be yourself' ... 'how can we live in a world where people would rather die than be who they are' ... 'its all the same love'
I just wanted to share this with you because it touched me that they would voice their opinion like this...I totally agree with them and I hope you will all agree too and spread the song so that everyone hears it.
