Posted on the 25 October 2011 by Hctf @hctf

David Dramm

Composer and musician David Dramm is the driving force behind Ensemble Labyrint, a rotating group of musicians and visual artists, who are invited to join forces on the ensemble's website. Their first project is called The Factory - Sounds like Warhol, performing. The Velvet Underground & Nico in its entirety. It won't be perfect copy of the album - the eleven tracks are reworked by eleven different composers who were given a free hand to reinvent their designated song. The concert will end with the new Dramm composition The Factory

Three confirmed dates in The Netherlands so far. The venues will wrapped in aluminum foil, just like Warhol's studio on 47th Street in New York.

Live dates:
  • 10/26 Theater De Lieve Vrouw, Amersfoort (premiere)
  • 11/22 Philharmonie, Haarlem
  • 11/24 Bimhuis, Amsterdam
