I tried my own twist last weekend when we had some friends over and it was lovely. I have checked the internet and it is said thatBucks Fizz is great with fresh orange juice. Now,living in the UK means oranges are not abundant. But Innocent Orange Juices are as good as fresh juice since they are not concentrated or sweetened.
I poured orange juice into each glass (champagne or flute glasses are fine) to come up about one third of the way up the glass. Then I topped it up with the champagne. Next,I add half a handful of pomegranates.
You may want to add ice but I prefer mine without it.
As I had guests and with 6 children between us, the kitchen was a bit chaotic and I forgot to take a photo of our glasses. But I can assure you everyone was pleased.
