Encounter East Griqualand 2011

By Drakensbergxpress

Dear Friends,
Travel the road from the Highveld to the Transkei or the Kwazulu-Natal South Coast.
Head South from Durban to PE or the Garden Route. Either way, you will pass through East Griqualand, one of the most beautiful and least known parts of South Africa.
Many travellers do literally have a “passing” knowledge of the area, as Kokstad, in particular, is well knows as a “pit-stop”. We invite you to do so much more than fill up your tank, use the conveniences, and grab a burger on the run!

Encounter EG!

Come breathe the champagne air, here in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg. Stop your vehicle and really look! After a year of planning and deliberation, the members of the Organising Committee of the “Encounter East Griqualand Country and Garden Festival” feel we have an event that will become a regular and eagerly anticipated feature on the KZN Tourism Calendar. We are sure you will enjoy the beautiful gardens on show, as well as the various activities presented to you!

The event is planned to take place for the first time on the 4th, 5th and 6th November, 2011. Come and join us…

Enjoy… Experience… Explore… Encounter… East Griqualand!

Date 4th, 5th & 6th November 2011
