Italian Emmecosta are a post-dream pop trio who relocated to Sweden. Some of the Scandinavian mainstream pop sensibilities can be heard on their new single Effort. After a gentle acoustic intro, they dive into ambient territory, with a few shards of triphop rhythms to give it an edge. The harmonised vocals are spot-on and it is the perfect comedown song after a memorable night on the town.
