Emily VanCamp Talks Captain America: Civil War

Emily VanCamp has given fans an inside look of what to expect in Captain America Civil War. She discusses her character Agent 13 aka Sharon Carter and hints at at battle scenes with Scarlett Johansson (The Black Widow) with Entertainment Tonight. See what she has to say below.

“She’s definitely Team Captain America,” VanCamp toldEntertainment Tonight when asked about her told in “Civil War.” “That’s who she is within the universe, I mean, she’s always had his back.”

As for her action sequences in the film, VanCamp says fans can expect a showdown between Agent 13 and Black Widow, despite both of the characters‘ allegiance with Team Cap: “I got to do a small fight sequence with Scarlett [Johansson] which was fun. We’re all just kind of kicking ass in those movies.”

Of course, in the comics, Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers develop a romance that culminates inEd Brubaker’s “Death of Captain America” storyline, but in the case of the film adaptation, VanCamp indicates that things might not turn out so similar: “That’s where it all gets really tricky, because there are die-hard fans that want to see him with different people. There’s all the different camps, so hopefully people are happy with it.”
