Special Filing Instructions:
Duties: Working 1 or 2 -12 or 24hr shifts/week, EMT’s will respond to all emergencies on site at Bay Area Steel Mill. EMT’s will conduct security/fire patrols of property. Perform daily apparatus and equipment checkouts. Conduct weekly training. Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections and quarterly fire hydrant inspections. EMT’s are often assigned to teach first responder classes. Emergency Services is looking for dedicated, hardworking and trustworthy people. You will be required to work with little supervision, while being held responsible to finish all job related duties. EMT’s are expected to have great communication and interpersonal skills and should be available to pick up extra shifts when needed.
