The dying buzz

Business owners need to recognize that email marketing is not a dying art. In fact, it is a growing area that provides a wealth of opportunities to bring in new clients and retain old customers. Consumers enjoy marketing that comes through their email. The response of consumers to email marketing is more positive than using social media because it has a traditional aspect that is appealing and it can reach a larger audience.

A key reason that email will not die out is related to simple numbers. More men and women have an email account than a social media account. The number of men and women using email is almost three times the number of those using a social media account.

The personalization aspect

Although social media and marketing through relevant Web searching online is a powerful marketing tool, it’s not enough to garner the attention of potential clients. The problem relates to personalization, which isn’t possible with general advertisements and social media. Email marketing allows a certain level of customization that is appealing to customers. By sending out customized and personalized ads based on purchases that were made in the past, a current client account or similar data related to the email account, a company can garner more attention than the general ads that are not specific to the customer’s needs.

Potential customers are more likely to take note of emails and spend time looking at ads because email marketing is permission-based. Instead of posting an update on social media, which may not be noticed by clients, an email is hard to ignore. Even if the customer does not spend much time looking at the ad, the special deals or information is noticed. When it is also customized based on the client’s previous purchases or provided information, the client is more likely to spend time reading the email.

Making an effective campaign

Email is an effective marketing tool due to the large number of individuals who use the service and its ability to cater to the needs of clients. Setting up an effective email campaign varies based on the company, the target audience and the goal of the email. Making an effective campaign strategy to market to the target audience will require the use of email, social media and traditional forms of advertisement. Although email still plays a major role in advertising, it should have complementary ads that reach a wide range of potential clients.

Reaching a diverse audience is the first step in bringing in new clients. With the right campaign strategy that includes several marketing solutions, it’s possible to reach a large audience, encourage new purchases and maintain a solid client base that will help a company grow and develop.
