Hey everyone!
So you all know how much i loves Elemis! I was sent through a bottle of the Elemis Total Glow Self Tanning cream to review, and i was really happy to get to work with it.
I have tried looooads of fake tans, everything from st moritz to fake bake and nothing works for me. I am longing to find my ideal fake tan and really hope this one does the trick...
So first off you need to prep your skin. shave the area if needbe the day before you intend to apply the tan, and make sure you exfoliate the skin to get rid of any excess skin! If you don't have an exfoliator, you can make one at home by mixing sugar and water. After that, moisturise your skin.
Once youve exfoliated, apply the tan in circular motions over the skin, ensuring not to use too much product and reaching to everywhere you wish to apply the tan to.
Once this is done, leave your skin to dry for a few minutes (no more than 10) and apply loose clothing. You will start to see the tan develop after a few hours.
The tan itself is a golden color which i really like because my skin is so fair, i really dislike having anything too dark as it looks so unnatural.
Aside from the colour, the coverage is good, although because there is no guide colour, its hard to tell where youve applied to and where you havent and so subsequently i had a couple of streaks - no biggy though i just filled them in and i was good to go :)
The smell is nice, it smells almost fruity - NO BISCUITS! :D
What are your experiences with Elemis fake tan? have you used the Elemis Total Glow Self Tanning Cream?
